We are pleased to offer the following Workshops for the Fall 2020 Home School season. Each of our workshops is designed to enrich creativity, critical thinking, leadership and life skills. We take pride in infusing play into our diverse curriculum to help support each child's individuality and growth.
Workshops are placed in blocks of 4-8 weeks. We meet once per week in most cases. Some workshops will have additional meetings. All classes are held at out Studio located at 1812 Ave G in Rosenberg Texas. Private classes are available both onsite and offsite. Please contact us directly to schedule.
The Creative Society Book Club This workshop focuses on multiple skills such as reading out loud, comprehension, parts of a story, interpretation, presentation skills and creative expression. Course sessions are between 4-6 weeks based on the age group and will include a variety of lessons surrounding the book and the subject matter. All materials will be provided including the books. Class time will include activities, discussions and projects over reading previously assigned (some age groups may be assigned at home reading). More than anything this course is meant to spark or to continue a flame for reading both fiction and non-fiction.

301 Theater Arts The Falls sessions are designed to engage kids at every skill level and age. Each session is a building block for a future session and we encourage participation expression and individuality throughout the course.
Fall 2020 Workshop Schedule Actors Studio 101 - Classes grouped Age 5 -8, Age 9-12 - a theater essential workshop that focuses on theater acting, creativity, exercises in imagination, focus and concentration, stage direction, expression, body movement and scene performance. 7 week workshop Actors Studio 201 - Classes grouped Age 5 -8, Age 9-12, this is an in-depth practice of theater performance via improvisations, characterization, ensemble performing, monologues, costuming and set design and costuming. 7 week workshop Theater Troupe - Ages 11-17- A practical exercise in theater as the group exercises their theater skills in the production of a live production at the end of the workshop. The workshop will include the production of a play from start to finish. The students will work work through the processes of acting, set design and construction, blocking, costume creation, performance and overall production of a play. This workshop meets twice a week for 8 weeks with 3 additional days for performances and set breakdown.

Adventures in Historic Rosenberg - A Lesson in History Notebook This mini session is designed to spark creativity and interest in the History of small town Texas. The class will conduct a history tour of Historic Downtown Rosenberg and learn about the deep roots the town has in the settlement and the expansion of Texas and the Railroad industry. This course will exercise their reading, writing and storytelling skills.

Imaginarium - A Hands-On Course in Creativity and Imagination Your imagination can take you on endless adventures and our Imaginarium course is built for just that. This class will help your kids tickle their inner creative through a mixture of art mediums, performance, improv exercises, creative writing, invention and storytelling. This is a 4 week course and each new session will provide a fresh set of exercises and course material.

Newsies - A News Outlet for Kids by Kids This amazing session is designed to give kids an introduction to journalism in written and video formats. They will learn the difference between writing for journalism vs. essay or fiction. They will learn proper interview technique and source notation and discovery. This course will have the kids producing a print newspaper and a Video news blog this includes creating, editing and revising content. This course will be offered to two extended age groups from 9 - 15 years. Kids in Business - A course in Entrepreneurship What does it take to build a successful business? It takes leadership skills and dedication and so much more! This course is a Lesson in Leadership with real life application as we work to build and create a student based business. We will meet with local business leaders and learn from the success and their challenges as as students team up and learn how to apply leadership skills to the full cycle of the operations side of a business from design concept to launching sales all while working with a team. This course will be offered to kids ages 9-13 to allow the kids to learn from each other and model behavior, critical thinking, problem solving and leadership. 7 week course
